Singapore Tech Week is almost over. We’re sprinting to the finish.

首发于 EPIC Connector Substack(2026-09-30)

Hi, I’m Hannah. Before we get into this week’s EPIC Weekly Digest, I want to share a frustrating update. We designed a full set of promotional materials for Singapore Tech Week and sent them to a print shop. Before they ever made it to the event, the materials were destroyed in a warehouse fire.

It was a real blow, and rebuilding everything in a single day has been a serious challenge. Things don’t always go to plan, and perfection was never on the table. But we’re doing everything we can to save the booth and show up strong.

If you’re attending Singapore Tech Week 2026 on October 29–30, come find us at Booth 5-A45. Your support means a lot to the EPIC Connector team!

Product Hunt: Your work doesn’t need prettier prose. It needs decisions it can act on.

The AI product everyone seems to be talking about right now is Jev, TypeSafe AI’s first System One model. Released on September 15, 2026, Jev is built to make decisions inside software rather than hold a conversation. You give it unstructured state, and it returns typed, probabilistic outputs such as Choice and Score. That makes it fast, inexpensive, and useful for classification, routing, moderation, and Agent workflows without forcing your code to parse a long response. Jev launched on Product Hunt on September 21 and reached #2 for the week. Vercel later reported that, within 24 hours of arriving on AI Gateway, Jev had become the fastest-adopted model in the platform’s history.

What if the NPCs in GTA RP stopped being background characters waiting for you to press a dialogue option? What if they remembered you, recognized one another, formed alliances, and changed their attitude toward you based on what you did?

Humalike x GTA RP is putting that kind of “living NPC” into real servers. Server owners define each character’s personality, backstory, and rules; AI handles the autonomous behavior. It turns abstract AI social intelligence into a game world anyone can understand—and want to play—which is why it quickly climbed the Product Hunt leaderboard.

The next phase of GitHub’s trend: established projects finally breaking out

This week’s GitHub trend has a clear signature: the biggest breakouts aren’t always new projects. Some are older projects finally getting noticed after months of iteration. Hindsight has been building Agent Memory since last year, while Paperclip has also been shipping steadily for months. They aren’t chasing a concept. They’re filling gaps exposed by real use.

These projects share three strengths: clear positioning, working products, and a direct answer to the problems that appear when people start using Agents at scale. Hindsight helps Agents remember. Paperclip helps teams manage them. As the market moves from experimenting with Agents to relying on them every day, early work compounds into word of mouth, integrations, and growth.

Before you go, if you’re heading to Singapore Tech Week, come say hi at our booth. We’d also love to see you at one of our upcoming side events. After this week, we’ll see you at SF Tech Week!
